After the arrival of our first baby I am putting my truck up for sale.. I am having a hard time deciding on a price to list my truck for... I don't want to overprice it and I also don't want to leave any money on the table.. NADA lists private retail at $7800 Kelley Blue Book says $5400... I am thinking somewhere in between is realistic..

I am the 2nd owner, I just put 4 new Michelin LTX M/S2 tires on it, gonna put new brake pads on the front and get it detailed up real clean.. Only addition from the pictures is a chrome bull bar on the front..

    1998 Tacoma ext cab SR5 4x4
    172,000 miles
    2.7 4 cylinder
    5 speed

I would appreciate hearing what the experts out there think...

I'd say $5,500-$6,500 on first glance

Start scouring Craigslist, newspaper ads, etc and see if there are any comparable trucks being sold in your immediate area. Once you see what everyone else is asking for theirs you can judge if you should go high, low or somewhere in between.

the paint is in pretty good condition, it does have some places with touch-up paint on it... interior is in pretty good shape, no tears, or rips...... Love this truck but ok to see it go since I have a beautiful little girl now....
