Today while changing the rear shocks on my '98 Tacoma I broke the head off the left rear lower shock mount. I tried the drill/e-z out method of removing the broken bolt but it would not budge. I tried penetrating oil and a torch also with no luck. I drilled out the bolt and tried to rethread the hole but the rusty threaded sleeve split while I was tapping the hole. In short I need a new stock spring plate/shock mount for the left side ASAP. Does anyone know where to purchase one? Searching my local parts places online turned up nothing.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Not sure what it would be under.. maybe just stock U-bolts.

If you have a friend who can weld might be a good time to relocated your shocks?

Checked car-part.com with no luck there either. I guess I'll have to order one at the stealership.
