Hi guys Im currently searching for some chrome nerf bars for my truck. What I want is for bar to be as close as possible to the truck. I dont want them to have to much space between the bar and the lower part of the truck, Any recommendations? tHAnks in advance

most of the bullbars out there are pretty close to the body...

or as close as they can get... i think they are pretty standard..

Hmmm I seen some pictures where they look to far from the body and they look pretty ugly.

even the close ones look awkward on the truck... haha...

although i did have one... until someone backed into my truck and the bullbar, designed to flex in an impact, dented up my stock bumper..

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
Close and tuck in? Then get some sliders and add some slider steps from Beefed Taco? Unless you really want chrome then nerf bars it is.

i also prefer to make my sliders stick out just past my doors. that way when soccer mom opens her door the sliders give them a nice ding in their doors lol

damn, i totally slept through this thread...

at the time, i was thinking about bullbars, not nerf bars...

in that case, like mentioned above, sliders would work as you can get some made to act as steps, and have them welded to the frame so as not to flex and hit the body of the truck...
