The vibration has come back into my brake pedal and steering wheel when i brake so it's time to replace them with something a little better than OEM.

    Any suggestions?

About 7500 miles ago i replaced my pads and rotors for a set of EBC rotors and greenstuff pads. Works awesome!

The LCE kit would also be an option for you as they are located in Arizona and shipping cost would be much less and might could be a local pick-up for you.

Thanks for all the input. Grouse, thats a pretty sick kit, I cannot lie... might be a little rich for my blood though, we'll see... I'll probably either go with that or the ECB rotors and pads.

Your calipers might not be stuck as you live in Arizona, after 10 years of Kentucky road salt both mine were. The Tacoma brakes are good brakes and upgrading the pads and rotors make them even better. If your calipers are not stuck I would go with the Tacoma set, if everything needs replaced I would convert to the Tundra system.

if you're satisfied with your braking, brembo blank rotors and hawp hps is a good combo. however, if your 1st was like mine, the braking was inadequate. i just finished up the Tundra 13WL caliper upgrade and it made a dramatic improvement. i wished i would have done it a lot sooner.

I put hawk pads with powerslot rotors (didn't go for the cryo treated option, sounded like B.S. but who knows) and steel braided lines from wheelers ofroad since i had a pine tree tear a hole in one. Took my vibration away, and they stop well. Not life altering performance, but it's nice to know you have new components doing the job. I could always rebuild the master cylinder, or at least flush the lines...

A lot of people have also recommended the Brembo blank discs.

Nice, are you going to move your front rotors to the rear? Saw a write up on that floating around.

Would my 15" rims fit over the Tundra brake upgrade?

I'm pretty sure that my calipers are good to go. So i guess i'll just not spend the extra 150 on new calipers and just put it toward the new timing belt and water pump i need to replace. Just it 100,000 miles. :D

Good choice on how to spend your money. My truck has 99K, timing belt was done at 61K, six years ago next month, so it's time for it to be done again. I hate being broken down !

You cannot use the front rotors on the rear;). If you mean if I plan to convert the rear drums to a disc setup then my answer is no. The rear drums do their job pretty well plus the majority of the braking is done up front. This is where it really counts. From what I've gather so far, when converting to rear disc you lost your parking brake function. Nobody has come out with a kit to keep it functional.

Unfortunately, 16" is the minimum size needed to clear these calipers. Even then, you have to make sure the wheel provides enough caliper clearance. Some 16" wheels will not work.

Here's my setup with our SCS F-5 wheel.
