During heavy storms or getting a wash, water leaks in from the passenger side grab handle (aka "oh shit" handle).

Attached is a picture...any ideas as to why? I looked at the seal on the door and it seems fine. I thought it was possibly the window, but it looks to be leaking directly from the handle. Not sure where to start looking to troubleshoot...any ideas?

    Thanks!

    :)

It happens when I'm driving...or rather the rate of leaking increases while driving.

I'll check on the windshield gasket. Maybe it needs replacing?

You should be able to tell if the door seal is'nt flushing up to the door by looking at it for defects, tears, rips, cracks. You might be able to patch your windshield gasket up if you find where its getting it at.

also with the door, you could take a dollar bill or if your broke, a piece of paper. Take said object and place between the door and weatherstrip--shut door--with window down-- see how easily the paper moves with the door shut.

If there is no resistance you have a crummy seal.

    Hope this helps.

Yea..that way werid. There is the plastic cover over the A pillar then there is really only the wind sheild that water can get to other then door.

Hopefully the sealant that hold the windshield isn't bad..
