this coming up weekend I am installing bilstien 5100s all the way around
and a rear add a leaf I saw some posts talking about the lower bolt for your
macpherson strut siezed in there. I am wondering if this is a common problem that I should prepare for or is this just a occasional truck here or there.
    Thanks.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I think you might have that confused with the LCA bolts. The strut bolt usually comes right out. You may have to "persuade" it with a punch do to pressure form the assembly, but it usually comes right out.

Depends on where you are from, from my attempt to remove sway bar I would assume all my bolts are seized so I'm going to be ready for it when I install my lift.

well I think I am going to start useing penetrating oil a few days in advance and we will see how it goes. I bought the truck from a girl who had it in Salt lake city where they salt there roads. just hopeing I wont have to use die grinders drills and air hammers because I dont have a air compressor currently.

I used rust penetrant and a blow torch to loosen up the rust on my bolts I don't know what type of a bolt it is but as long as its not a bolt with an Allen key it should be fairly easy with an impact gun.

finished my lift the front was easy set the 5100s at the highest setting installed a add a leaf in the rear and 5100s all the way around the add a leaf was a 2" lift that set the rake a little high so I put 3 sand bags in the back and the measurements are exactly the same in front and back. installing the add a leaf actually kind of kicked my but a bit due to siezed bolts everywhere. sometime I might install all new leaf packs if I can actually get the shackle bolts out.

Those u bolts were a bitch for me to get off, it was hard even with the impact gun cause the u portion would just fly around.
