Problem with the tacoma on long trips!!

    I have this annoying rpoblem on long journeys that the engines , once a fair distance in to the run, will hiccup and feel like its not getting enough fuel or is running with a cylinder down.. Any one have any ideas??
    Oh and where to find a rear bumper?....kinda ruined mine :D

    caged, camburg long travel, 50t leafpack (soon to be installed) light rack over cab, 5pt harnesses etc
    bad fuel wouldnt only do it on long trips

    just had it serviced!
    Was thinking of changing the spark leads and rotor.....might help?
    Fuel filter too??

    Can't tell from your info what engine you are running but if it is the 3.4L, you don't have a rotor or a distributor. Its done with coilpacks which doesn't seem to fit the symptoms.
