Exhaust question not sure which muffler to go with

I've been looking at puttin a louder exhaust on my truck (1999 3.4L). I dont want it to sound like a honda with a coffee can on it but i know it wont sound like a v8, i just want want something that sounds mean for the v6 and sounds like a truck. I've been looking at the flowmaster 10's and have heard lots of good things about them but i dont know anyone with one. do any of yall have or know someone with one on a 3.4L?

 

I ran the FM 40 series 2 chamber and it was louder and tinny therefore I switched to 18" Magnaflow and find it better. Mind you my whole cab in sound deadened and the 40 series was still annoying.

 

Welcome from right down the road bubba. The fm 10s are loud as shit. I've heard the magnaflows sound pretty good

 

yea i have a couple friends who have them and they dont sound bad but i kinda wanna do something different as long as it doesnt come out sounding like trash ill be happy

how you doin man thats pretty funny i guess its a small world and yea ive heard theyre loud but i dont know anyone with one to hear what it sounds like
