    If you want projectors you are going to have to pony up some dough.

    Again, shrouds alone, or lenses alone, you are buying a piece of a retro, you need shrouds, lenses, ballasts, harness', relays, etc. People use retro source because its a package deal, you get everything you need from a reputable source.

    I think I see the $70 kit you're looking at and personally, I'd wait until TRS has their next group buy and get everything I need. TRS has great customer service and everything is warrantied. That means if you buy the cheap kit and that solenoid doesn't work, they replace it. Andrew from TRS is a member here and you can always pick up the phone and call them.

    That being said, other members have gotten away with cheaper projector kits. With projectors, you get what you pay for. A cheap projector won't give you any real improvement in light output or pattern.

    well i just ordered xentec HID's off ebay for $60 and plan on installing them tomorrow. and im just gonna run em plain til they burn out then ill buy projectors, and get a good set of HID's
