Has anyone created inner fender wells for their fiberglass fenders... I don't want them filling up with snow this winter... Let alone the salt from Minnesota roads getting thrown up in there

Get some 1/4" trucker mud flaps and make your own. Or order some 1/16" abs plastic and mold your own.

    2jz is pretty easy swap.

This is easy to figure out. The ADD diff is the front. If you don't have manual locking hubs it's an ADD diff.

For the rear locker you should have a button on the dash on the driver side of the steering wheel.

But if you don't evenhave 4wd. Chances are you don't ha e either.

So the add is all front 4wd without locking hubs? I'm seriously considering the 2jz swap even with a modest tune at 400-500 hp it would be well worth it wouldn't be sniffin this semis ass if I had some damn power

you want torque. Not power. Downsizing your motor isn't going to do that. Power and of the 2jz is not ideal for a truck.

Th add is just the front. It's on the tube on the passenger side of the diff. Has an actuator that slides to lock the axle to the diff to give you 4wd drive. Early years are vacuum. Later models are electric.

Yes true but if I tuned a 2jz gte to 500 hp she should easily be making over 400 ft lb of torque and straight six twin turbo pretty sure I'd be extremely satisfied with the outcome and towing capabilities... Would my tranny bolt right up? My brother In law had a 2002 mr2 and I felt like I was driving my trucj

Yea well an mr2 weighs nothing.

Sure yes a 2jz can do 500hp and 450ftlbs. But it won't be till 4-6 thousand rpms...

I just got done going over this is great detail. The 5vz fe is a torque monster. You have over 85% of torque at 2k.

A 2jz won't get to the same output till much higher in the power band.

The tranny will bolt up with a different bellhousing. Then you need custom motor mounts. Drive shafts and engine harness. Priced out its about 7 grand.

You're much better off turboing the 5vz

What all would need to be done to the block to be able to handle a twin turbo setup? And I'm sure I'd want to recam and lower my compression

Your over thinking it man. Twins would be like a 20 grand project.

A small single will get you to 400hp easy and be at full boost below 2.5k rpms. There is lots of support for singles including headers readily made.
