i have a 04 tacoma 4x4. i have had it since 99000 miles. i drive a lot of dirt roads in maine with potholes and other hazards. it has 147000 miles on it now and i have replaced 3 inner tie rods and soon to be 4. i went to get an alignment and the mechanic said i have another tie rod going.

My question is... IS THERE A BETTER INNER TIE ROD OUT THERE??? that i dont have to replace every 15000 miles??? better than the oem inner tie rods.

    please help!

Sorry, no info on beefier ter's.

Are you sure it's not the steering rack bushings? Alignment tech told me tie end rods were on their way out. Ended up needing to replace the sr bushings. Go with Energy Suspensions if they need replacing, Wheeler's has them.
