    You would want a rear shock that's longer than stock with a lifting leaf or you will blow the shock.
    I'm clearing 33.3" tires without a problem.

    So i would need to replace the rear shock at the same time or no? Im thinking a complete kit would be best.

    So say i get the Blistein one: the OME kit with The Alcan 8 leaf spring.

    That would put me around a 2-3" more height than im running now or what the stock height would be given the suspension doesnt suck like mine does atm lol. If im only running 17x9 Gear Recoil with 265-65/R17 Cooper Disc. AT3 how will my roll be if its lifted? Is it gonna be significantly more roll to it or no because its just a 2-3" lift. It shouldnt make that much difference but Im worried my tires may be to small for a lift atm

    I would say my body roll improved after the lift. And yes that lift would put you at 3-2 inches of lift from stock. You probably are not at stock hight (lower) so it might be more

    @Tacomaboss
    So would you say it improved you cornering / roll over possibility or added more to it? Im not quite sure how to ask what im trying to.

    @m3bassman
    I think youre correct about the OME leafs. Id assume my sway bar is on? Idk really. How would i check that?

    Yes, mainily because I was on 15 year old shocks. And your sway bar is most likely still on

    Im pretty sure its still on. Im "baby" my truck kindof like my collection of Nike Shox. Keep it clean lol. So even though im lifting it, it will improve my cornering but doesnt lifting the profile of the truck give a higher center of gravity and therefore make it more prone to roll over? Oh also would i have to get a calibration on the speedometer with a 2-3" lift kit?

    Yes, it has a higher COG, but with better shocks I feel my truck handles alot better. And the lift doesnt change the speedo. the larger tires do. I have 32s (one inch taller than stock) and its only off by a few MPH at 55

    Makes sense. Are my tires gonna be big enough for now to hold / look good with a 2-3"? Now another question, did you guys instal yourself or did you guys get it installed somewhere? How hard was it to do? Im pretty low on my car technical knowhow

    What size tires do you have?
    I installed mine myself. It wasnt that hard IMO. Its up to you really. If you dont think you can do it, then have a shop do it

    Im pretty sure my tires are 265-65/R17s on 17x9 rims. Not 100% sure but thats at least very close if not spot on. My GF's dad is a mechanic and will probably help me do it

    Is there a bar mounted to your frame under your skid plate that is linked to your front spindles
    [IMG]
    or lower control arm on each side.
    [IMG]

    Yes the lift will raise your center of gravity but with better shocks & springs you might not notice more body roll.

    If you have a sway bar it would be behind the front diff
