Replaced ignition lock cylinder, now I can't lock my doors

I replaced my ignition lock cylinder last Thursday. On Monday my truck was acting like the key was still in the ignition when I went to go lock it (chimed when door was open). The key fob wouldn't let me lock the doors and manually locking didn't do anything as the door automatically unlocked when I shut the door.

I figured out I can trick the thing into letting me lock up by reinserting the key into the cylinder and jiggle it randomly then remove it. This is unreliable at best.

    What are my options?

I would say that you may have made a mistake in the lock cylinder replacement. Re inspect your work and see what is going on. You may just have something positioned wrong in your assembly.
