Can I use Mobil 1 75W-90 LS in a non-limited slip differential?

    I searched... didn't find a direct answer... Bought a couple bottles of mobil1
    $30 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Lube - 1 Quart (Pack of 2)
    75W-90 gear oil to change my rear dif, got home and realized I had grabbed 75W-90 LS gear oil. Will the LS oil be OK in my non-limited slip rear or should i just go and return em before i do it...?

    LS is compatible in non-LS rear ends but you can't put non-LS in an LS rear end.

    does anyone know how much oil the rear dif will take? also how much the transfer case will take?
