    Hey everyone,

For a while now I have been hearing an electronic sound in the cab of my truck. It sounds like it is coming from under the glove box passenger side.

Its hard to describe, buts like something is trying to turn on but just keeps freaking out and is super annoying. If anyone has any insight or knowledge on what this might be I would appreciate it.

Also there is a weird pulsing vibration from under the cab as well.. but thats a whole new story. One thing at a time.

    GO OREGON STATE BEAVERS!

    Best,

    Chris

    Like a chirp/whistle/squeak combination?

If it only makes that noise while your fan blower is set to anything but "off" then it's the blower motor.

Does the pulsing/vibration happen when driving or braking? Driving could be the driveline and braking is probably your ABS working

I originally thought it could be a fan. However trying every setting including "off" the noise was still there. I should take a video and post it haha

Pretty sure its a driveline thing. The only thing that puzzles me is that it wasnt uniform. Meaning driving at one speed the vibration wouldnt have a rhythmic pattern. But most likely a driveline thing

Did you ever find out what the electronic sounds were? I have the same thing. Wondering how to fix it. Thanks

turn the interior temp knob to full heat and see if it stops... it could be the blend door actuator attempting to control the interior temp and cycling fast in an effort to maintain that temp. by turning the heat to full should force the blend door to the max position and hold it there with no cycling.
