I am about to put a J59 Deaver 8 leaf pack in my 04 double cab. I am wondering if I should change out the shackles for longer and or greasable ones. I don't really need the extra height, I just though while I am down there I should replace as much as I can.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
If you have the extra cash then get some matching OME greasable shackles and main eye bolt.

If you choose to add greasable shackles...
I believe those can be purchased in stock length.
but I would avoid extended shackles if you don't need the lift.

    One advantage of those...
would be that you can lube yer bushings
    without having to disassemble things.
    So maintenance labor is reduced.

Leaf spring eye bushings tend to squeak
when the lube runs dry and dirt infiltrates those.

I believe Wheeler's Off Road sells standard length greasable shackles
tho' I'll guess there are others as well.
