o2 censor

    95.5 2.7l 4x4 taco- Is there a way to remove the check engine light permanently after the cat is removed? Ive disconnected the battery and it turns of for about 5 miles then comes back on. Anyway of tricking the computer to think the cat is still in?

    I think I've heard people say you need an o2 sim for that. Is Smog an issue for you?

    no smog is not a issue for me. i can see the sun just fine and breathe just fine.

    Thanks for giving us a good reason to not telling you how to solve your problem... But if you're smart enough, I answered a couples days ago in another post here how you can solve your problem.

    Putting a new cat on the truck still the best solution.

    I found that LC Engineering make a box that plugs inline of thwe down stream O2 censor. I mite give that a whirl.
