Do the mud flaps from 98 Prerunner fit on 98 Tacoma extra cab? Are their brackets the same? If so, what other years uses the same bracket? Thank you in advance.

Sorry guys, I'm a newbie. Just got my first Tacoma.

I'm just talking out of my ass with no experience but I'd be surprised if they didn't fit.

So you have a 4x4? Prerunner is just 4x4 without the 4WD equipment. Body, frame and suspension are the same.

No, I have Tacoma Extra cab SR5 with 3 inch suspension lift and 3 inch body lift. I have seen the mudflaps on the regular tacoma and they would look hella short on my truck since it is lifted.

Thanks for the responses by the way!!

What do you consider a "regular" Tacoma?

And posting a picture of your rig will help.

Someone will give you exact years and models. But maybe trace on a piece of paper the mounting screw points and check out toyos at junk yard?

Billies on all four corners with daystar spacer lift. Bought it like this. Replacing done with toytec ultimate 3" lift
All the first gen brackets should be the same. If not then 98-04 should be right on. So to answer your question, yes 98 mudflaps off a prerunner will fit on a 4x4 model. Like said above EXACTLY the same truck minus 4x4. If you want mudflaps that won't look short, get rid of the body lift

If you can trace the layout of the mounting holes, DuraFlap can custom make the mud flaps to your specifications. If you can trace the entire mud flap shape that you want, they will computerize that design and cut it for you.
