removing resonator box!

    anyone know the steps to removing a resonator box from a 04 tacoma 3.4L?? thanks.

    and then do you cover the hole after youve taken out the box or just leave it open and breathing?

    You cover it. Some have used a PCV end cap, golf ball or a metal Gatorade cap.

    ok so i did it...it sounds pretty sick! around 3000-4300rpm its alot louder on the throttle...a sort of rumble first then around 4100rpm it goes insane.
