when you buy used coilovers, you should always consider a rebuild automatically as you don't know how bad they were treated by the previous owner, or how many previous owners it has gone through, etc...

i heard the same thing about Icon's rebuild... it's a fair price considering they do all the labor, etc... as for springs, i would stick with what they have as they are built specific to their shocks...

i think it's safe to say those are not icon UCA's. the icon tube UCA for 1st gens only became available in the last year or so and icon does not sell them with the bolt and mis alignment spacers that are in the OP's pictures.

also, the icon arms have that brack line attachement bolt that on the back side of the arm, the OP's do not

like i said, they're probably camburg... doesn't really matter though as camburg, TC or icon are all good quality

I saw the camburg UCA they have 2 tiny bolts on the arms and this one doesn't. Im just making sure what brand it is so incase if i need any parts. What does mis alignment specs spacer do? how high can i crank this icon C/O? On the top plate it said 2.5, does that mean it only goes up to 2.5?

2.5 is the diameter of the CO

    but yeah... you shouldn't lift a 4X more then 2.5" - 2.75"
But it will allow for more... 3.5" I think

If the seller said they were icons they probably are because they look very similar to the picture above
