I have a 2003 taco 4wd four door and I'm going buy a brand new Honda rancher 4wd Friday could someone tell me if it will fit in the be of my truck. It really doesn't matter if my tailgate is up or down.

My suspicion is that the front track will be too wide to fit in between the wheelwells. But it should be able to sit on top. But then the front might hit the back window.

    This exactly.

I have an xtra cab so i can drive over the wheel wells with my ATV but yours will be resting on the wheel well since you have a double cab.

    It's a pretty tight fit.

it will fit but it will be tight on the wheelwells. ive had a grizzly 700, sportsman 800 in the back of my 1st gen dcsb. You will definatly want to tie it down. it will hang off the back some.also be careful with the back window when you load it some bikes the bumper will hit the window.the rancher will fit easier since its a mid size. also if you are planning to haul it often u will need new leaf springs. hope this helps. letme know if you have any other Q's

I have a rancher and an extra cab and it barely fits in my truck. I believe you can get it in there with tail gate down and some straps. However, be wary of the front bumper hitting your back glass! My rancher has shattered two back glasses now! Put some kind of protection between the glass and the rancher, you wont regret it.

I have a Foreman 500 that fits. it is tight though and you have to back it in or else the front bumper will smash the window in. Its scary the first few times backing it in, but then you get the hang of it.

i got a 250 recon, and a 500 rubicon, ive had the recon back there, and me and my buddy rode in the bed with it, it was tight but we were covered in mud and my mom and dad in the cab. the tailgate was up too. now i have a toolbox in the bed so the 250 fits. but the tailgate is down. it almost fits with it up though. the rubicon would prolly fit too never tried it... haha youll be fine man
