I have a 95 2.4L taco, and I'm having problems starting when the engine is warm or operating temp. But when it's a cold start it fires right up. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Coolant temp sensor, too maybe. Check for burned or pinched wiring. These are just guesses.

Does it turn over as fast when hot as when cold . Some engines need to turn a minimum number of RPM's to start . I had a jeep with an old inline 232 that would at times become hard to start when hot, a new nose cone bushing always cured the problem, even when you could not tell the starter was turning slower when hot. Those old 232's that the starter mounted on top of the engine with just two bolts ate starters for lunch if you didn't tighten the top bolt every couple of months .

It was the fuel pump, and some dumbass shop put the fuel filter on backwards and burnt out the pump. Truck is running extremely strong and healthy now! Thanks for all your inputs.
