Well its starting to get cold, and my temp adjust knob is stuck on the cold position - on a real hot day I can maybe adjust it a half turn, on a cold day even less. I can turn it about a quarter turn then it begins 'ticking' or 'popping', - pretty sure its the cable, if someone has dealt with this problem and can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

    It's the cable.
