Well, I dont know how to say it. I just found out that I have a 1994.5 Toyota Pickup. I do not own a Tacoma. I will now delete my account and begin my search for pickupworld.com. In all seriousness though, what does this mean for me? :(

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
It means we can no longer respect you as a man. It means you have to change your profile accodringly. It means you will hereby be known as "Mr. 3.Slo".

Actually it doesn't mean anything. Who cares. You still own a pretty awesome truck. :D

I'm kind of curious as to how one would own a vehicle and not know the model of said vehicle?

It's still a Toyota truck after all, so I don't think we'll be breaking out the spears and torches quite yet...

I wasn't in the market for a Toyota truck. I just saw it for sale and bought it because it was a sweet truck and the price was right. On the Title, Carfax, Registration it all says 1995. So, I googled and 1995 Toyota Truck and BAM! it's a Tacoma. I was wrong, I was 6 months short of getting..... I dont know. On a brighter note it looks like lifts from Toytec are slightly cheaper.

Yes, look for a torsion bar kit or the TC LT kit. . The AAL's are fine though (add a leaf for the rear)

Thanks. This sucks because I've spent the last couple weeks trying to decided on a suspension setup. Now I have to start over and learn an entire different front setup.

You've got a really solid platform to work with. A little extra knowledge is always a good thing, and you'll be very happy with the results once you're done with your upgrades. :)

If it wasn't for the 3.0 being gutless for a V6 I would actually prefer one of these over a 1st generation Tacoma. I looked and looked before I bought my 96 and couldn't find a clean 89-95 for reasonable money. Torsion bar front end, no steering rack, frames that were made correctly the first time, etc.

I am truly jealous if that's the worst news you've ever received! Consider yourself lucky.
