Ok I went and got my VIN# from the door jamb and went on TTORA to see what gears I have, but my digits are not like what they say they are. I am wanting to find out what gear ratio I have without taking the 3rd member out, and counting Ring & Pinion teeth. I know I can rotate tire and count how many revs the dr. shaft makes for 1 rev of the tire but I thought the vin would tell me something. Anybody want to help out and guide me to where I can find this out or tell me what I have?

Not to doubt you but you couldn't figure it out from the code on the manufacturer sticker on your door jamb?

    First digit:
    • A = 7.5" ring gear
    • B = 8" ring gear
    Next two digits:
    • 01 = 3:42
    • 02 = 3:58
    • 03 = 4:10
    • 04 = 4:56
    • 05 = 3:15
    • 06 = 3:91
    • 07 = 4.30
    Last digit:
    • A = 2 Pinion, Open
    • B = 4 Pinion, Open
    • C = 2 Pinion OEM Limited Slip

well I looked on the door it self didn't even turn my head to look on the body. Went back out there and found it on the body thanks anyway. I have a B03A which is a 8" w/4:10 gears and it's a 2 pinion open diff.
