    Konaborne, I've seen your truck on different threads before. I think your headlights are way cooler looking than stock for sure didn't even notice that you had projectors in them until you pointed it out. But the chrome kind of bugs me... Haha same type of thing though. Do you recall ballpark how muh it cost you to retrofit your HIDs with projectors? Not including the cost of those aftermarket housings

    yeah, I'm debating about painting them or switching to black housings... but I retrod these less than a year ago so I'm just gonna live with it for now haha

    the projectors were $90 from a member on here, with $40 HID's... I did it the super cheap way and got lucky that my chinese ballasts havent taken a dump on me

    Wow you did get lucky.. what brand of HIDs did you get for 40 bucks? Haha also when you retro'd them how did you seal the housings?

    Some no-brand slim ballasts :anonymous: There's literally no brand on them... :spy:

    I literally could not have done the retro cheaper. I just went slow and didn't use any replacement sealer, just the original silicone and my headlights have not fogged at all

    yeah, just 265/75r16's. Couldnt afford 285s yet, but one day...
    I like em, with the flex I'm at now, anything bigger will have me rubbing like a mofo

    I would not get those halogens at that price, Might as well just wait for the next trs group buy and do a retrofit. You can get the morimoto mini h1 retro on group buy for like $230 shipped and its really easy to do! Going to be way better than either of your options in my opinion!

    oh and also, a halogen projector is just awful, and a waste of money! they do it to make you think your getting a better headlight because its a "projector" but will honestly be worse than your stock headlights

    Nice! :thumbsup: Matt, I really like the pic of OEM vs. aftermarket. Are those the spyder ones that I have on the link, or a different brand? Also, are you planning on doing an HID retrofit for those or are the PIAA bulbs pretty decent?

    Virginiabound, how did you get your signal lights that black.. just nightshade? And did you have to put brighter lights inside of them in order for them to be noticeable?

    Thanks, David! Those are actually ebay headlamps and corners (P.S.Team), which my PIAA bulbs do very well with! No retrofit for me! ;)
