So I have had this 2003 for a month or so and today noticed that the metal bar on my hedrest was protruding out of the foam. It wasnt very visible with the cover on but man would that hurt to get rear ended and have my head slam into that!

Anyays I managed to put it back in its place and hopefully secure it from moving again. If you get the chance maybe feel yours also and make sure its not like mine was!

My friends 03 had the same thing happen to it! I remember many of times leaning my head back and that bar hurt!

I don't have passengers very often...in fact saturday was the first time in over a month that someone rode in my truck with me

I've had the airbag turned off on the pass. side since I bought the truck

Yeah what made me find it was an accident i saw today. I saw a car got rear ended and I even managed to catch the expression of the driver after he hit his headrest. I was thinking how much that would hurt then felt my headrest haha.
