Rear Suspension Help on 1998 TRD xTended Cab

    My 17 year old son's 1998 TRD xTended Cab looks like it has a leaking Bilstein 5100 Rear Shock. I put the 5100s on it maybe 1.5 years ago with a Wheeler's Add-A-Leaf and factory leaf pack.

    The 1998 is a 4x4, TRD, 3.4L, 5 Speed with 45,000 miles. Appx. 20,000 miles on the 5100s. The truck has 255/85R16 (33") BF GoodRich Mud Terrain Tires on 2nd Generation 16" Rims with 1" wheel spacers to get the rims back to track factory width.

    My question is what is the easiest and best shocks to replace these with? Because I am tired of working on this truck.

    Yes, he takes the truck mud ridding. Any other suggestions (other than taking the keys away from him) would be appreciated too!

    Also I'd just replace it with Bilsteins. Sure its a leaky shock though, the lspv can leak as well. That and tell him to stay out of the mud, it mess more things up than any other kind of terrain.

    If I go back with the Bilsteins do you think the 5100s, 5125s or 5150 would be best and easiest since the truck is a little jacked up in the rear?
