A bumper here, some tires there..... you know, stuff.
i originally had a spacer lift and add a leaf. go with the add a leaf if anything, not blocks. my spacers made my coils sag 3/4" after 8 months. i would wait if i were you until you had the funds. don't get me wrong, spaces are not totally HORRIBLE but if you plan on doing more wheeling you will kick yourself later if you get spacers.... i did. good luck though

What is your budget? Bilstein 5100s set at 2.5 and add a leaf would most likely be better than spacers and not cost a whole lot more.

Spacer lifts decrease performance in almost every situation and are only good for looks and decreasing the value of your vehicle. These trucks are very capable even in stock form. Save your money for when you have to do a real repair on your vehicle, or better tires, or maybe even something nice for your girlfriend (maybe your best investment in enjoyment on your budget).

That said, this is coming from someone that is struggling with doing even a proven OME mid-travel setup (which I can finally afford at this point in my life). That would be the absolute minimum I would do if changing from stock, and in my opinion, that doesn't get you a whole lot of gains over stock (experience & skill > equipment). I am waiting for the new to wear off, at which time I will go whole-hog long travel expedition and drive from Yellowknife down to Tierra del Fuego.

i am going to call BS on this. having ran a spacer lift then now some coilovers a 40 buck used spacer lift was the best bang for the buck. you could add a cheap shackle lift and be happy for a wile. also having that spacer lift on the truck didnt seem to ride any different to me then stock

Maybe Bilstein 5100's all the way around and a new leaf pack would be a start? Also a DSM UCA if you have the monies.

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.

being 17 is no excuse. You single and living at home! No bills. So get a job..save up and do it right..what i did..well not with the truck..but with a supra..

    P1171270_b6cfcf28180e88f1cb358ac1b7fd80b0144c5f2b.jpg

My truck wasn't much different. Just worked my ass off. Got the money. Lifted and over hauled it. Hard to believe it was stock just 14 months ago with all the shit its been through haha

You can do it right. Just have to work for it.

Do it right, or don't do it at all.

Cheap shit = cheap...shit..If you ever put anything on any vehicle you ever own..make sure its always something BETTER. Not worse.

Stock as Stock can be with duratracs and a roof rack

    Pretty good advice
Be proud that you can do it yourself and not need anyone's help... Learn independence that way.

Run an add a leaf although you might need a new leaf pack so think on that instead better yet rebuild your current one
