Everyone in my truck was ok. The passenger in the other car got carted off to the hospital. It didn't look too serious.

    Too many to list now.
It's this mentality that pushes everyone's rates through the roof. Even yours.

It's more like you'll be screwed unless you go that route. He was hit, he needs to be made whole.

There were 2 people in each car. I was really glad that my passenger was unharmed considering his door and the door behind took most the impact. The cab of the truck has definitely lost some square footage. The seat is pushed into the center consul, glove box wont open. Truck rolled a couple times according to the witnesses. Not really sure what happened, its kinda a blur. The tailgate area sustained huge damage in one corner. I'm guessing it landed there at some point.
Tacoma was a lot sturdier than I gave it credit for, haha. Damn thing wouldn't die. Had to climb back in put it in park and turn the key off.

I have done all the hi-pro mods for a life time, since I got this truck at a great price, I will be happy with showroom new.

Well guess what? BUD! Let me tell you a story of why I feel this way.

A few years ago, I went to Lowe's with a now ex-buddy of mine to help him load some lumber for the house he was working on. It was a Sunday afternoon.
Leaving Lowe's, he was frustrated with how much money he had to spend, now I can understand that, but despite my yelling " STOP" he ran the stop sign leaving the shopping center. Another car going the speed limit 45 slammed into us, his side, and flipped us around. His side had the airbag.
He got written 2 traffic violations.
I could not breath. I had to go to the emergency room, police called ambulance, since I was loosing my color, and where the seat belt had me, and it did save me from more damage, I had 12 bruised ribs. Have you ever had a bruised rib? I had a blood bruise across my chest. the only reason I did not break a rib was I was very built at the time. that accident destroyed 3 years in the gym.
I could not breath deep for 4 months.
sneezing was a new experience in pain.
and I could not screw for 3 months. think about that.
I had a 8500 dollar emergency room visit.
I had 4 thousand dollars in ciro bills.
I could not work for one month.
state farm offered me 1000 dollars to settle.
did not think they should pay the hospital. or ambulance.
I did not have health insurance at the time.
they thought I should turn it in on my auto insurance.
after 3 years of fighting, I had to hire a lawyer before the stat. of limitation ran out.
took 2 more years and right before the court date they settled.
I got a total of 17,500 for bills and my trouble, which is what I wanted and they paid the lawyer.
It is standard practice for the stall tactics. so see if you will just go away.
google state farm and allstate, if you don't believe me.
My mother writes insurance, for over 30 years now. and will not write state farm because of this,

and she told me from the beginning I was going to have to have a lawyer.
    silly me.
there, how do you feel about that.

and since I had to sue him to force a settlement we no longer speak, I cant help that but what else was I going to do?????
please give me your knowledge on this issue.

Sounds like your situation was totally different. OP said no injury.

Your little rhyme sounds like you are promoting a money grab, with the help of an ambulance chaser.
