    Ok so my 2001 trd 3.4 manuel tranmission yota is runiing wierd it has 143,xxx miles what the problem is when i get up in higher gears (4 and 5) and hit the gas the truck starts like choking out and stuff i have already put in a fuel filter and the upstream 02 sensor and nethier helped much so im going to do my down stream 02 sensor but does anybody have any idea if that not the problem what it might be also for the first 2 day of this doing it my check engine light was off but know it is on and sometimes blinking

    You should get the code read. Is it only in those gears?
    Sounds like a misfire deal. I'm thinking injectors or the like.

    Lots of potential issues can cause that concern from spark plugs to fuel filter to fuel pump, or even a fuel pressure regulator. If you don't have a fuel pressure gauge, you can usually rent one from a local auto parts seller.

    That aside, with 143k on the odometer, if you haven't replaced the spark plugs yet, you should do it first.

    yea once i get done putting my o2 sensor in tomorrow if that does not fix it im going to autozone and having a computer hooked up
