    There was one very similar for sale near me not too long ago. It was cream color with the brown graphics. I think it was even the same year. It was in great shape. I wanted it. I posted a pic on TW, but I can't remember where.

    I wonder what he paid for it in 1988. Maybe somewhere around ? without looking it up I waid guess $13,500. I could be way off I was 9 in 1988.

    none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
    Wow. That truck brings back memories of being a kid. My Dad had an 88' 4runner and back then, it was basically this truck with a camper top stuck on the back. The only problem these trucks had was that they rusted out pretty badly. I tell you another thing too, and that is that the pics in that ad look sort of fishy. It really looks like what they did was re-paint it and sort of do a spray paint restore job on the frame because you can see overspray in a few pics. That and they sprayed tire shine on EVERYTHING. Despite that, it looks like it is in great shape. I'd LOVE to restore one of these some day.

    very nice truck. I cant imagina paying 12K for that now thou. Id like to see it up close and see how good that paintjob is. Odds are that truck was beat to shit, or in an accident and then restored.
