So a customer wants me to lift his 96 tacoma extended cab anywhere from 2-3".
He doesn't want anything stock on the suspension so i will have to get new leafs and new struts and coils.
I know how to lift the truck 3 inches but i am wondering about 2" especially for the rear of the truck.
I bought 3" lift leafs from all pro and they were almost 5 and then settled to 4-4.5" before i took a couple leafs out. any suggestions?

Just became with the leaf on a 96. They are shorter then 98-04s. They are the same as pretacos in length so that could open more doors for lift.

I'd go with Alcan 5 packs at Wheelers and maybe a 1" lift shackle or the AAL from wheelers.

OME 881s with just a 5 pack is about 2" on a stock truck(no armor or bumpers/winches ect) and sits level.

he has a 120 pound bumper and a 8000 pound rated winch so extra couple hundred pounds on the front.

Yep, just put on some 883# (as you know Monte) in front, wasn't too sure at first drive, I actually shot up 3.25" over stock now after a couple weeks & some minor 'froadin' they've settled perfectly, now have level ride.

Now if you have xtra weight may or may not matter alot not a 100% on this but would say they'd probably be fine

Yea they are a 590lb coil so should hold them fine.

Although the eibachs would hold it better but they give just over 3" generally.

Blake doesnt allpro have a 1.5" lift pack as well as the 3"?
Thought they did. It would probably be a good option for the rear.

Wait... So how did you get the All Pro leafs to fit?? Did you relocate the hangers?

And no, All Pro doesnt have a 1.5" leaf kit for the Tacomas.

Yea I'd have them just make you springs or just get wheelers 5 packs or Dakars as no modification will be needed.
