Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Was in great shape and still is, the interior is like new inside, must have lived in a garage all it's life previously, but now it lives outside because I don't have a garage. The body has a few small scratches and one dent in the tailgate, but nothing noticeable unless you're right up looking closely at it.

Got my 96 sr5 fully loaded at a town auction for $500. PO passes away and truck was sat for 7 years. 140000kms and no frame rust damage. Only a little on drivers side floor. The paint was faded and i had some trobles with clogged filters, injectors, cat. But she runs mint now. Love the truck so much i sold my corolla and this is my dd now :)

We've offered my mother in law $4000 for our '98 extended cab with 89,000 miles.

She said keep the money until we sell it. But I don't want to ever sell it.

Mine was a graduation present, but my parents paid $6000 for mine. Had just under 155k miles when I got it. Would hesitate to get going, but after it hit 20 or so mph, it was fine. Replaced the MAF sensor and everything was fine. Overall, the truck was in rough shape and everything was original. Still kind of is, but I'm working on restoring it to its former glory :) *knock on wood* This truck has NEVER let me down. Always kept running, even though it was neglected and I somewhat drive it hard. Couldn't have asked for a better truck imo.

    11k.
Listed price was like $7800. But had to finance. 4k down, 7k loan.
    Bought with about 138k miles.
    All options. Trd. Spacer lift.
Pretty good shape. Needed some basic maintenance. Suspension parts, timing belt/water pump kit that I just replaced. Still has a bad O2 sensor/cat, but urd simulator fixed that. Crappy spray over paint job that lasted almost 3 years. Gonna need it soon. But think I got a pretty good deal considering. Runs like a champ now!

    used to have - 99 2.4L I4 5 lug & 04 prerunner v6
99 2wd 5 lug 2.7L with 120k miles and almost new tires with no rust but clear coat peeling on roof at back cab corner and a few dents in the hood (someone sat on it) and tailgate straps broke when he was loading a 4 wheeler so the tailgate has bumper imprint in it.

bought in October this year and paid $5,000 even and got him to put a full tank of gas in it.

after purchase I did an oil change to synthetic, new permanent dry air filter, tranny flush and change to synthetic, put a whole new front end (4 ball joints and outer tie rods) new rotors and brakes, new rear shocks, replaced cracked exhaust manifold, all total maybe I spent another $350 getting it all sorted out.

I've seen that truck on Craigslist for a while. Price is about average for a 2WD. Is your buddy looking for a specific truck? I'm going to be selling my 95.5 Tacoma V6 4x4 Xtra Cab in Sierra Beige with 110k on it. It's super clean, zero accidents, all maintenance done (timing belt, water pump, brakes, new shocks and front coils) with some minor cosmetic upgrades (GE Nighthawks, updated lighting F/R), plus a new tow hitch/harness. I'm in the area - I just have not posted it up yet. Had a few dings/dents in the bed but overall this thing is really nice for the age and drives perfectly. Everything works (PW, PDL, A/C, etc). Not a speck of rust.
