I payed $13,000 for mine last Spring and it's a 2003 Tacoma, V6, TRD Package, 4x4, X-Line bedliner, new stock exhaust, new tires, in GREAT condition except for the rust from sitting AND it only had 27,000 miles on it! I fought for it and it was so worth it

Needed a winter vehicle - 2001 TRD V6 extra cab SR5 stick with a topper. Bought it for $8700 two months ago with 130K and a dent in the driver's door. In CO it's very hard to find a Tacoma with less than 150K for under 10K. Truck had a bad leak in the transfer case ($500 to seal the top). I added the rims and tires ($1800) and have shocks, timing belt kit and front brakes ordered. I may have done better to pay more for a nicer one, but again, they're hard to find. The guy I bought it from listed in on Craigslist Saturday morning, so I texted him early and we met at 11:00. He had 12 hits on it and he told one guy he could see it after I looked at it. I drove it and we shook hands... done deal. When I get out of the truck the other guy is there and had $9K cash in his hand. When he was told the truck was sold, he was very pissed... made me feel better about the deal.

2001 Extra cab, TRD, 2.7l I4. 80,000 miles. Purchased for $13,500 in 2006. It was REALLY dirty. I thought it had tan interior, turns out it was gray. Old man owned it as his farm truck. Basically he stored it in the barn, with the windows down year round. I took it home, cleaned it up, and eventually got a new frame for it. Well worth the money. It now has 156,000 mi. Never let me down.
