    Hey guys,

I hit an ice chunk tonight that came out from under an 18 wheeler, I didn't have time to dodge it. I was just about to turn off the highway only my road so I pulled over right away.

I looked underneath, everything looked fine so I turned onto my road and put it in 4WD and the truck almost ground to a halt. There was a screeching sound and it smelled like burning almost instantly.

I stopped, put it back in 2WD and it drove 100% normal. I got home, stayed for a bit and when I left I put it back in 4WD and cautiously drove straight out of my driveway and as soon as I turned the wheel it screeched to a halt again but no smell just a bit of a grinding noise. Put it in 2WD and no problems.

I'm stumped. Everything looks fine underneath but I can't see much with the stock TRD skidplate.

Thoughts? Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks!

Are you turning on high traction surfaces with 4wd activated?
