Lightbulb Whale Whale Whale - She wont start. HELP

The facts:
I have a 95 tacoma, auto, 4x4, 3.4 v6. It has over 200K miles on her. Had a old Alpine alarm installed, no remotes. Truck ran great.

The story:
I wanted to install a car alarm, for the keyless entry. This was my first alarm and first mistake in 2013. I could not get the alarm working. I decided to scrap the idea, removed all alarm conections. This truck did have a alarm installed, so I was able to see 80% of the splices made the first time and reuse them.

I moved the truck to my drive way. The next day my truck would not start.

The Problem:
Truck will not start.
Has a newer battery. Turns over, cranks fine. Just does not seem to fire up.

Fuel or spark right? I have check all the fuses, they are good. I switched the EFI and Acc relays. Also checked AM1/2 and they seem to be good.

I have the OCR out, but am not sure how to test it...

I do not hear the fuel pump running... Does this make a sound that would let you know? I have read some say it does and some say it does not.

I have an Ohms meter but am not sure I am using it the right way (Ha!) and have ordered a new fuel pump to install. And have an OBDII scanner on the way as well (have wanted on for a long time).

Lets keep in mind that my truck started fine after removing the alarm.

It has a lot of miles.... but ran fine...

What did I do?
What should I check?
Is this a common problem?

My favorite way to differentiate between fuel and spark problems is with a little starting fluid.

I've never done it, but can't you use a tire pressure gauge on the fuel rail valve to check fuel pressure?

My volvo has that kind of connection, but the tacoma requires a bolt and fitting or something.

When you turn the key to ON, you should hear a faint buzzing sort of noise. That is the fuel pump. On my Honda, when I thought the fuel pump was bad I removed the fuel hose before the intake and put it in a milk carton. Then when I turned the key to ON it pumped into the carton and I knew it worked. Simple test.

No buzz. So I am happy I have the pump on the way.

Does anyone know how to test the COR/OCR? Can I make a jumper wire to test with?

I am trying to stop throwing money at it, I need to trace the problem down.

Find out if you have power to the pump before throwing a new one at it.

Exclamation

I GOT IT FIXED!

Turns out it was the Mass Air Flow Sensor!

I ended up changing the Fuel filter, and had ordered the fuel pump, but did not install it.

I got the MAF from Pull-a-part, off of newer Lexus. Only $21 bucks! Sure beats 500 OEM!

Its running!

Next step is to have my mechanic do the front end, I ordered all the parts for about 200 bucks. I got PepBoys to price match rockauto.com

It can be done! LOL
