if you want a stero for your truck, go to Crutchfield.com they give you wiring and installation kits with your radio. I have used their products in several cars. Prices are good, too. Much better than Wallyworld.

Just reuse the factory mount, I had to take a small circular file to file down one of the screw holes or something but that's it, perfect fit.

I got the everything off of Crutchfield for mine, but you can get the harness separately.
You either solder or crimp the wires from this harness to the ones on the radio. Then that plugs into the factory harness, Which means no cutting into the factory harness. Stuff is color coded, follow instructions and tape up unused wires, It's easy.

Got the radio installed! Wooped my butt, the aftermarket security system locked the doors when I hooked the (-) up my keys and phone were in the truck :( I had a spare in my dorm room (but it was locked as well).

Anyway, I got my computer back up and running and am getting ready to go take a few pictures of the truck in the dark.

Does the ashtray have a light? I have a few missing/burnt bulbs...

Pics of truck, inside, shocks comming soon... :)

Toolbox is out (Looking for a slim box on craigslist)

Radio is replaced with single DIN pioneer that I cant figure out how to set clock.

Have new plugs/wires (NGK SINGLE electrode, NAPA brand wires) and Napa brand air filter (stock replacement)

Am I wasting my time with stock replacement parts? Ive searched and found others saying use the TOYOTA brand plugs only?!?!!?

Should I go with a K&N or other filter? Read about a deckplate mod..please elaborate and explain thanks!!

    Plans are:
-Flush trans fluid filter new fluid
-Change F/R Diffs oil (what kind/weight)
-Change Transfer case oil (what kind/weight)
    -Vacumn,wash,detail
-Get remote starter/alarm working maybe just batteries in remote?
-Replace burnt/missing bulbs in ashtray lighter area (noticed some when I had it apart for Cd player.

Anyone interested in Factory 99 cd player/radio? :)

Okay I will go take pics now..

Most change from the stock shocks to bilstien 5100s

They are zinc coated, and offer a couple dif lift heights and are valved better than stockers.

U can also use the 5100s and not set them for lift.

    Check downsouth motorsports for prices

    Check Build Thread!!
No issue to use NGK brand of spark plugs so long as they are gapped correctly and use SINGLE electrode.
