Are the FJ60/80 high pinion axles an exact match on width with the Tacoma rears ? I know guys are using them, but I'm wondering how the widths match up.

    That's what I kinda thought.

I found a high pinion axle from a 92 Land Cruiser. I'm debating between grabbing that or getting one from a pickup.... I need to research the pickup axle though, not sure if it's wide enough to use leaf springs. I'm trying to make a decision which one to get and will be the best width.

Is it the one on P-town CL???

FJ80 is perfect width. Diff is on the wrong side, passenger. Getting the steering to work is going to be another $850. BUT, you can build the shit out of it and have a strong Toyota axle. Mini truck axle you can use IFS hubs to make it wider, and flip it.

That's the one, lol !!! I guess that one is a no go, not interested in spending another $1k for the steering, I'd rather put that toward chromemoly axles.
