    pretty easy.

And by 5 speed you mean manual tranny, right?

On the transmission there is a fill and drain plug. The fill plug on the tranny is 90degrees on the drivers side of the transmission. The drain is directly on the bottom.

Remove the fill plug first, then the drain plug. Drain the fluid. Replace the drain plug, then refill the tranny through the filler. Its made on the side of the tranny so you cant over fill the tranny, and any extra oil just drains out.

Use a high quality 75w90 GL4 oil. Redline MT90 gl4 is the favorite around here.

So is there three plugs to take out ? the pictures show three ? Which one do I fill up with ? I know the drain would be the bottom one but the filler one is important as I dont want to overfill.

First pic...idk...that has nothing to do with this procedure. Second pic is fill, third is drain

Remember to always pull the full plug first.

Si is the same gear oil used in the rear/front end and transfer case as in the 5spd gear oil ? ? I want to put new gear oil in all of them because I hear a bit of a whine from somewhere when the clutch is engaged. Thanks again

You can use GL5 oil (which is easier to find and thus cheaper, like regular Mobile 1 synthetic 75w90) in the diffs because there are no syncros.

The tranny requires GL4 oil because it has brass syncros..GL5 oil will eat away brass.

I am not sure about the transfer case. I used gl4 Just in case.
