    Hi,
I was replacing brake rotor and pad today and found that my new pad (wagner mx433B) does not have hole for the pin which hold the pad in position. On the website they said it fits to my tacoma (2002 xtracab prerunner). I am pretty sure it will not drop because there is anti-rattle spring. But I do not know if it is safe since there are nothing to hold those pad in the place. have any one experienced a brake pad without hole?

This is the new pad looks like:

and this is the stock pad looks like:

I'm not a brake expert, but I've changed my rotors and pads and would not feel comfortable putting these in. So are you saying that the shoes fit and you can still put pins in (I assume over the top of pad)?

Gotta be the wrong part man. I would send those things back and go to an auto parts store and actually look at them before you buy them.

I agree with what the others have said. Get some that actually fit like they should.

yes the pads fit. I put back pins and anti-rattle spring. but the pin is not going through the pad.

The pin allows them to float. you don't want them stuck in the caliper not floating back when you release the brakes. Get the right parts!

Around $26,000 worth of unleaded in the fuel tank.
Yeah, they are probably for a 5 lug tacoma. I would exchange them for the right ones.
