1st off 97 tacoma 2.7-5 speed manuel-4x4-122k miles. I've been having a grinding noise(almost like a bearing grinding around the walls of something) It only happens when it gets really cold which for here is about single digets or teens. It Let it warm up for about 5 mins and then drive it for 15 before the noise finally subsides. also it typically only does it between 35mph-55mph. below and above that it's good. any one any ideas or have a similar problem and gotten it repaired. hopefully going to put it on a lift and run it this weekend. hoping someone could give me some ideas before that though.

with snow on the ground this morning im also noticing a slight squeak when turning sharply right, and when stopping at a stop light. towards the end of my drive there was also a "thunk" noise from under thr truck. at first i figured it was grabbing snow and salt and throwing it but it was to constant for that. won't be able to put it on a lift untill next week sometime. Any ideas or advice on other things to try to help diagnose?
