I'm new to this but wante to ask a few questions

    I'm lookin to buy a 80-84 pickup to lift and make and make a toy for off reading is there any magor things I need to check or be aware of before buying I'm not sure if this is the right area to post this or not but thought I'd ask any info would help thank you

    Yeah you need a solid axel for all the off reading. :)


    I'd just check for leaks and make sure everything is straight and looks good. I mean either way your really just buying the axels frame and shell. Everything else is going to be gutted and replaced ie: suspension, tires and other goodies.

    Yea my phone likes to autocorrect stuff and I fount a 81 looks to be in great condition he's askin 2700 tht to much to pay ?

    My phone does it too. What's it look and run like. $2700 sounds like a pretty good price.

    Chicken lights, chrome and smoke tunes.
    Check the frame, they're known to rust. It'll probably have some but you can judge on how much you're comfortable with.

    Ask if the timing chain tensioners (known to give trouble after alot of miles) have been changed, also regular maintenance. 22r and 22re's are know to tick so don't be worried by that, tick not KNOCK.

    How many miles does it have?

    I didn't see miles I used to have a 94 tht had a 22re so I know about the tick part and thank y'all for your help
