    Hi all,

Lift up door handle on driver side has snapped off.. how do I go about replacing it and could I do it myself? I didn't see any screws or bolts inside the handle so I assume I would have to access by removing interior door panel?

    Thanks.

Mine just broke also; I did a search on this subforum (1st-gen) and found a bunch of info, including vendors w/ good pricing. I ordered the part, but haven't gotten it yet. Edit: I paid $43.70 shipped for mine.

Just go to 1st Gen Tacomas, and put "door handle" in the search bar; you'll find all kinds of info, including pics & vids, as it appears to be a common problem.
