I have been trying to find a suspension kit for my 01 Tacoma and am noticing one major flaw. There aren't a hole lot of complete suspension systems! You have to buy shocks, coils, leafs, and everything completely separate. The only place I have found that has an entire kit is at http://www.rocky-road.com/tacoma.html with an Old Man Emu. but it has lift.

I want as little lift as possible. 2" or less, even stock ride height would be desirable. Are there any other companies out there with full kits or does OME have the monopoly here? I need heavy load bearing and obviously, quality.

    Thanks for reading.

Thank you. Just what I needed. I'm an ex-jeeper so I'm not used to having to mix suspension pieces.

Maybe so but it will be worth it. Now you can spend less time wrenching and more time actually enjoying your truck!

If you want as little lift as possible there are a few options. You have an Ironman lift kit wich is around 2 inches. Or ome wich is 3 inches (the rear leaf pack is 2.75 inches i believe). Or If you really need as little as possible, You can contact I believe Alcan or Deaver makes custom leaf packs to your speciifacations.
Or you could do a aal (add a leaf) to your standard leaf pack. For the front you could do 5100s Billys

All good. Just wanted to help him out too since he would be looking for hours for it.

So while we are on that topic, are 5100 billys going to work for a 1st gen as well?

I hear Eibach is a good brand to match with the Billys. How do I narrow down which part # on the Eibachs will match the Billys? Places like Summit racing have eibachs for every vehicle imaginable. Just wondering how to know what will fit the shocks. Is there a comparable brand to eibachs as well that doesnt cost an arm and a leg?

And i did look at ironman since my buddy has an ironman on his lancruiser and it rides great. But i soon found out they only make for 05 and later. oh well.
