What kind of off roading do you do? Im just saying if its not strictly dirt Grabbers dont grab shit. They are also very heavy. I consider them a "looks" tire.

In mud they pretty much turn into slicks. Last weekend I went wheeling with members and he tried climbing a muddy hill with his Grabbers and started sliding down because he couldn't grip anything. He was sliding backwards btw

This truck I wheel with some times is a chase truck for off road events and has the Toyos. They are a good all around tire.

I've never heard anyone say a thing bad about MT/Rs with Kevlar. Great on road performance. Great off road traction. Very strong sidewalls as oppose to the duratracs. I just ordered some ($290/tire mounted and balanced).

It's time for new tires for me. I'm currently running 37" bias ply Mickey Thompson Baja Claws and these things get A LOT of attention. Here's my problem...One of them has gone bad and is so bouncy between 20 & 30mph, and so old it's like pulling teeth to get shops to do a balance. Which may not even cure the bouncy problem.

Being that tires are so freakin' expensive, I'll probably have to get one at a time. My problem...I'm having trouble finding anything that I know isn't going to wear out super fast, and is as aggressive as these BC's I'm using.

Everything I see looks way too smooth for me. The enormous sidebiters have spoiled me. I put my 35" BFG AT I use for a spare on the other day and was so embarrassed just looking at it at my house, it had to come off immediately. It looked like some dune buggy from the 70's.

This truck needs incredibly aggressive tires that are going to wear decently, ride smooth on the road (probably radials this time around) and come in under $300 a tire. This truck isn't my daily, but will see asphalt on it's way to the dirt. Everything Discount shows me I laugh at. They're all so wussy looking after running these things for 8 or more years. Ideally I want to go with some 38"ers, but they have to be chunky as fawk. Looks like I'm going to have to dig down into the wallet real deep.

Same thing in snow with the BFG KOs. They can't clear tread in those conditions. They're really good for sand and rocks, but any crappy conditions and they fail hard.

Im happy with my Toyo M/Ts thus far. The edges are showing some early signs of crumble. I think the Generals are savage. I'd go with them. BOOM

On my second set of Toyos. Will never own another set of MT/s. They're pricey, but if these last 5 years like my old ones did(and still going on another truck) why should Igo with another tire? I do mostly on-road driving and some sand/mud. Great under all conditions I've put them through.

Between the two, the toyo's...

IMO, get some BFG KM2's or the new Goodyear MTR's

I went wheeling last weekend with a guy here that has the generals and they are awful in snow. They look great, but who builds trucks for looks? I love my cooper discoverer STT's so far. I've heard good things about the toyo's too
