    Yeah... watching a TV program beat up a 20 year old Hilux diesel makes me feel great about owning a Toyota. :rolleyes: It's awesome what that thing put up with but I have no illusions that my 2007 could endure the same beating and live to tell the tale.

    The hilux episode from Top Gear put the toyota on my radar when I was looking for a new 4x4, but the trip to the north pole really cemented the reputation.

    So... a TV show destroying a 20 yr. old Toyota truck and watching a heavily modified truck with a Toyota badge on the front travel to the north pole is what made you buy a Tacoma? Oh boy... I guess you should be glad that Top Gear didn't take one of the Nissan Arctic Trucks to the North Pole :rolleyes:
