I just bought a 2001 Tacoma Xtracab, 4wd, 6 cyl, stock truck with 87K miles. It has had some documented service done at Toyota over the past couple years. Jan 2011, at 72K miles it had a 90D frame inspection, no perforation found, performed LSC90D, applied corrosion preventive (all warranty work). June 2011, at 76K miles changed water pump, Timing Belt, Drive Belts, and thermostat. Don’t have any other documented service. I’ve only driven it about 15 miles but didn’t hear anything out of the ordinary. I’m planning on doing an oil change with full synthetic and replacing the air filter (K&N) but since it’s coming up on 90K miles, I was wondering if I should do the other routine servicing that the book recommends (spark plugs, transmission fluid, differential oil, etc.).
