So I just left the LR disco world last month by a tragic accident! A very sad day for my 97' white disco w safari rack and OME 1.5" lift:(
A LAPD car chase came thru the hood and my rover help stop the bad guy in a stolen corolla as he came around on to my street and slammed under my disco.

Good news thou I found a 03' gold DC 4x4 w 115k up in Boise, ID:):)
    Question for everyone.

Me and the independent dealer can't found out if the 90k timing belt and water pump was done.
Should I get the extra 36k 3year powertrain warranty? It is piece of mind.
Waiting for dealer to find out if I can use warranty as preventive and service work.

Is there any way of telling if that service was done?
Logbook is empty ofcourse. And carfaxs doesn't show.

Thanks, and can't wait to start building my new to me Taco

I'm pretty sure warranty isn't gonna cover it until it breaks, if that. Just negotiate the belt into the price and buy it. Or see if they will do it but if you can, try and save $500.

Not really because they had 3 other parties wanting the truck. Went ahead and got the warranty to cover anyway. I don't want to test my bad luck with this truck. When I get back to LA I will have it looked at.

You should use a headlight restore kit on those headlights. But it looks nice.
