I just got a 1999 4x4 Tacoma and it does not have push button 4x4, can I safely move the 4wd lever from 2hi to 4hi while driving at 25mph?

    Thanks

i have the same yota. you can go from 2WD to 4Hi as long as you are under like 55mph and you have to be in neutral to put in from 4Hi into 4Low

np man. There should be a little card on the drivers side visor. My truck had one and it tells you all about the 4x4 and how you can use it.
